Jasper Clark Professional Background Information:   I have long had an interest in real estate; however, it was not until the summer following my freshman year at Colgate University that this curiosity was cemented. I had the opportunity to work with Gilmore Associates, a real estate firm based in downtown Los Angeles. While interning for the company I began to gain an understanding of how a thriving firm operates, in both the commercial and residential sectors of the market. By shadowing the firms asset manager I was able to appreciate the organization that coincides with a successful business. Towards the end of my internship I began showing properties to potential buyers. This experience made clear to me that my favorite aspect of real estate is in dealing with people, and the challenges and joys that are a result thereof.       I am a political science major at Colgate. In my freshman year I was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, a national honor society for first-year students. I have earned the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in every semester that I have studied at the school.
